sugar in the sacrament [maggie's mix #3]

So I made this mix yesterday and thought I'd share it with everyone. It's a little less lighthearted than my past two mixes I posted here but I feel as though it is a good collection of songs that are worth checking out even if you would not necessarily go for the heavy/moody stuff on a regular basis. Though there are the simply heartfelt songs (Panic, Elliott Smith), essentially the mix is on the more intricate side of the musical spectrum and the songs I picked are what I perceive to be meditations or reflection on relationships with entities that are not easily seen, always fleeting or difficult to understand. Some, like Pelican, Juliana Theory, or Russian Circles, substitute lyrics for musical intricacy. Some people have a difficult time relating to music without lyrics but these are a good crash course. I hesitate to describe them as religious or even spiritual because I think that can be interpreted somewhat hastily. Decide for yourself and comment if you would like! I want to hear your opinions. Enjoy.
