Today we posted not one, but two videos from our little road trip with Thieves & Villains. You can watch them both in the video player, but we recommend heading to the downloads section to download an alternate version of one of them.
This has never happened before, but we had a very creepy experience trying to upload the road trip video to our player last week-- it blocked the upload because it recognized that the video had Thieves & Villains music in it. It sent us an email with the track names and everything. We've since sorted it out and have permission to post the video with that music, but as of yet no one from Brightcove has returned our phone calls so we still can't get it up on the site. I re-cut a version with generic music so we could get it posted so check that version out on the site, and download the original one for your ipod.
This past weekend we made another reluctant trip out to the worst venue ever, Death Trap (aka Vibe Lounge on Long Island) If good bands would just stop playing there, we wouldn't have to keep going, but as it stands we'll probably be there again in a matter of weeks. We were there to shoot an interview with Farewell, who I've been wanting to shoot with ever since 6 months ago when I was watching Music Videos On Demand at 4am and saw their video for First One On the Blog. They were a lot of fun, and their interview will probably be up in the next week.
